I moved back to Washington in with my husband and our cat. I grew up in Washington but spent the last year teaching in Arizona. When I am not teaching I love shopping, trying new restaurants/coffee shops, watching movies, reading, listening to music/podcasts, and spending time with my family. I’ve heard so many wonderful things about Oakville and I am very eager for this upcoming school year. 

I graduated from Western Governors University with my Bachelor of Science-(Biological Science- Secondary Education). Last year I taught 7th and 8th grade science at Chandler School District. I have also taught 5th grade and high school Chemistry at Rochester School District.

I am most looking forward to being involved in the community. I can’t wait to support my students in many ways both inside the classroom and out. I love watching sporting events, going to band concerts, chaperoning dances, and being involved in community events. I also enjoy supporting our amazing communities small businesses. I can’t wait to get to know my students and encourage a love for science.
