| Learn all about Oakville School District! |

The Oakville School District has a student population of approximately 350 students in Preschool through Grade 12 and serves all students on a unified campus. The staff includes over 50 qualified and experienced certificated and classified individuals who are committed to providing the best educational opportunities to a diverse student population. The school district consists of one elementary (grades P-5) and one middle/high school (grades 6-12). Voters in the Oakville community have a long history of supporting school levies and bonds. 82% of our students come from low-income families and are eligible for free breakfast and lunch. These demographics make our district a Title I district, which means we receive special funding geared towards certain programs and services. Approximately 25% of our students receive Special Education services.
Oakville is located in Washington State, 12 miles west of Interstate 5 on Highway 12. Oakville is the southeastern gateway to Grays Harbor County. Its rural setting offers rustic charm combined with affordable housing and within close proximity to Puget Sound, Hood Canal, the Olympic Mountains, and the Pacific Ocean. It also offers the convenience of the Chehalis River and other local streams and waterways. Adding to the cultural richness of the district is the reservation of the Confederated Tribes of the Chehalis. Our district maintains close ties and working relationships with The Chehalis Tribe. Over 35% of our students are Native American. Our neighboring school districts are Rochester and Elma.

Oakville schools are located on one P-12 unified campus. Regular school hours are from 7:55 a.m. (HS/MS) 8:00 a.m. (ES/PS) to 2:45 p.m. Our primary building houses our preschool, elementary building houses grades K-5 and our Middle/High school houses grades 6-12.
The district provides on-site prepared breakfast and lunch services as well as on-site transportation services. Other accommodations include two gymnasiums as well as football, baseball and fastpitch fields, and a K-5 playground area.
Safety is important to us. Our entire campus is secured with chain-link fence and locked gates. There is one main entrance to each building with electronically locked doors that can only be released from within by office staff. Our district also has surveillance equipment both within and without of our buildings and grounds. These extra security measures help secure, and ensure, the safety of our students.

All public schools in Washington fall under one of nine Educational Service Districts, or ESDs.
