Student Service Center, Penny Reinitz (360) 273-5947

Our student service center offers students, staff members and community members a safe-haven to express opinions, set goals and problem solve.  Teaching life strategies is paramount to the Oakville School District.  Students, staff, and/or community members may contact the Student Service Center by appointment.  Staff members may also refer a student for assistance by appointment.  Home visits may be scheduled throughout the year, as needed.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

We want your parent-teacher conference to be a success – for you, your child and your child’s teacher(s).  Below are some tips to help you prepare for this important meeting.

Parent PTSA

The Oakville PTSA (Parent, Teacher, and Student Association) is a great opportunity for school involvement.  The PTSA serves and supports the education, cultural, and safety programs for the students of Oakville.  The PTSA has many types of fund raisers throughout the year which helps to enable our children to enhance their learning experiences through fieldtrips, reading, math, and community get-togethers during the school year.  Last year’s officers were Kayla Koopmans, Kelly Hawkins, Arwin Brown and Jennifer Crocker.  Volunteers contribute their time to help in the classrooms for student achievement.  Please call Kayla Koopmans at (360) 273-2092 to become part of making our Oakville schools successful for all.

Host Volunteers

We encourage all members of our community to volunteer their time to assist students.  Ideas include, but are not limited to; reading with a student, helping with math, or chaperoning school events.
