Child Find Notice

The Oakville School District is responsible for locating, evaluating, and identifying every student with any suspected disability (including students who attend private schools) who live within the boundaries of the Oakville School District and who is currently receiving special education and related services.

 

Any child with a disability from birth through age 21 may be eligible for special education and other related services.  For information about eligibility, please contact Margaret Ross at (360) 273-5947 for further information.

 

The notice is intended to comply with the applicable requirement in WAC 392-172-100.

Any application and any required policies, procedures, evaluations, plans, and reports relating to the district’s special education program are available for public review and comment through the district’s special education department at (360) 273-5947.

 

Procedures for Earthquakes or Other Natural Disasters

The focus of the Oakville School District’s procedures is to protect both, students and staff.  The school is prepared to care for students in time of critical situations.

 

Emergency School Procedures

In the event inclement weather, adverse road conditions, or some other unforeseen emergency forces a change in school scheduling or a school closure, information will be broadcasted on the following radio and television stations:
